Here are a few policies that you should know about. We look forward to seeing you soon and please let us know how we can improve our services and better assist you in your design choices.

Approval Policy

  • A three day in-home trial
  • A credit card on record
  • If rugs are not returned in the allotted time, the items will be charged to the credit card on file
  • No upholstered furniture is allowed out on approval
  • No sale furniture is allowed out on approval

Delivery/Handling Fee Policy

  • Rugs-Free to Northshore and Metro New Orleans Area*
  • Furniture-Mandeville/Covington $50
  • Furniture-Hammond/Slidell $75
  • Furniture-Metro New Orleans $125
  • $200 fee for rugs and furniture to Baton Rouge
  • $250 fee for rugs and furniture to Lafayette
  • $150 fee for rugs and furniture to West Bank
  • Price TBD if outside Southeast Louisiana
  • *Sisal and Seagrass rugs are subject to a delivery fee

Special Order Policy

All special orders are considered final sale. Special Orders are not able to be canceled, exchanged, or returned. We will honor the manufacturer’s product warranty. Payment is due in full when placing the order. Freight/Shipping charges will either be collected by Rug Chic at the time of delivery, or by the freight carrier at the time of delivery. 

Returns & Exchanges

No returns, store credits, or exchanges on sale merchandise. Original artwork is never discounted. Special and custom orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable. Payment is due in full at the time the order is placed. We will happily accept returns on unused merchandise up to 7 days after purchase for a store credit only.
